Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information Infeeds (“we”, “us”, “the Site”) collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a story pitch, contact form, or email, we collect the information you provide (typically your name, email, and the message).

Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically log: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referrer, pages visited, time on page, and approximate location (country or city). We use this to understand traffic, debug problems, and improve the Site.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of cookies and local-storage items to remember preferences (such as your light or dark theme) and to measure how the Site is used. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • Respond to messages you send us.
  • Measure aggregate traffic and engagement.
  • Detect and prevent abuse or security incidents.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted or first-party analytics tool to count page views and to understand which articles are read. Analytics data is aggregated and is not linked to your name or email.

Advertising

Where the Site shows advertising, the ad creative is served by us or by a small set of partner networks. Ads are contextual — they are about a topic, not about you. You may see an “Advertisement” label; sponsored posts are clearly marked.

If you are in the EEA or UK, we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site, and on the basis of consent where we have asked for it (for example, when you email us a pitch).

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Confirm whether we hold personal data about you.
  • Provide a copy of that data.
  • Correct or delete it.

To make a request, write to exmgks@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

How long we keep data

We keep email correspondence for as long as it is useful to us and you, and we keep server logs for up to 90 days for security and debugging.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We will update this policy from time to time. The current version is always at this URL and shows the “Last updated” date below.
