Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched its latest flagship smartphone in India. The smartphone is a step up from last year’s Honor 7. The trend of having dual camera setup at the back is catching up, and the Honor 8 aims to deliver the same to the mid-range segment. While the Huawei P9 offers a Leica developed dual rear cameras, the Honor 8 offers a similar setup – minus Leica branding. Honor has also worked on the design aspect to add a touch of premium look and feel to it. The frame is made from sturdy metal, whereas the front and back of the smartphone is made from 2.5D curved glass. The power / sleep button and volume rocker is placed on the right edge, whereas the card slot is on the left edge. The USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio port and speaker grill is at the bottom.
